Rowers Pushing Hack Vote

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford All-American and United States Olympian Austin Hack is a candidate for the USRowing Fan’s Choice Awards Collegiate Athlete of the Year and needs your vote.

Hack is among five finalists for the award, joining Harvard’s Andrew Campbell, Georgetown’s Henry Hoffstot, Northeastern’s Justin Jones and California’s Kara Kohler.

Over the last year, as the youngest member of the U.S. Men’s Senior National Team, Hack helped lead the United States to a gold medal at the 2013 Samsung World Rowing Cup in Lucerne and a bronze medal at the World Rowing Championships. Hack is the only one of the five finalists to compete for the U.S. Men’s Senior National Team.

During his collegiate campaign, Hack was the PAC 12 2013 Male Athlete of the Year as he guided the Cardinal to a second-place finish in the varsity eight at the PAC 12 Championships.
