WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – Rising sophomore Max Freundlich started things off for Stanford at the 2014 U-23 World Championship Trials on Mercer Lake Monday morning.
Freundlich, who helped Stanford earn bronze at the Pac-12 Championships this year, raced in the Men’s B 2x Heat One and finished third overall. He recorded a time of 6:58.84.
By not claiming the top spot in the heat, Freundlich will now compete in the reps on Tuesday. He will be in lane four for the race that is scheduled for 9:14 a.m. ET.
Also competing on Tuesday will be rising sophomore Ryan O’Rourke. He will be in lane three for the Men’s B 1x Final at 7:46 a.m. ET.
