Stanford men's water polo had eight student-athletes named to the MPSF All-Academic List Friday.
To be eligible for the list, student-athletes needed to meet all points of criteria, which were owning a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00, being at least of sophomore standing academically, having completed a full academic year at the institution prior to this season, and must have competed in at least 50 percent of the team's competitions this season.
Making the list from Stanford were redshirt seniors Paul Rudolph and Forrest Watkins, juniors Conner Cleary and Nick Hoversten, sophomores Bret Bonanni and BJ Churnside, and redshirt freshmen Adam Abdulhamid and Griffin Bolan.
For Watkins it was his fourth selection to the list, and the third for both Cleary and Rudolph. Hoversten, Abdulhamid, Bolan, Bonanni and Churnside were all honored for the first time.
