Annika Dries of the 2014 NCAA Champion Stanford women's water polo team was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of May 5-11.

Dries scored a team-high eight goals and was named National Collegiate Championship Tournament Most Valuable Player as No. 1 Stanford went 3-0 to capture its fourth NCAA title and third in four years. That defense helped hold UCLA scoreless over the game's final 16:24 as Stanford went on a 7-0 game-ending run.

The honor is the first of Dries' career and the second of the season for the women's water polo team.
