Chris Owusu Named Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

STANFORD, Calif.-- Stanford sophomore Chris Owusu (Westlake Village, Calif.) was named Stanford Athletics Muscle Milk Athlete of the Week for his performance at Washington State this past weekend.

Owusu tallied the first two touchdowns of his career on Saturday, catching a 63-yard pass from Andrew Luck in the second quarter to make it 14-3, before running back a kickoff for 85 yards in the third quarter to make it 29-10. The kickoff return was the longest return since T.J. Rushing ran back an 87-yard against Notre Dame at Stanford Stadium in 2005.

The Stanford Cardinal remain on the road this week when they travel to Wake Forest in North Carolina for the first-ever meeting with the Demon Deacons.
