How will purchasing 2014 parking be different from 2013?

For 2014, parking passes will be a renewable item on a season ticket holder's account. In other words, parking pass(es) purchased last season will automatically be a purchase option during the 2014 ticket renewal process.

Will there be any lots available for FREE?
Yes, the Wilbur Parking Lots, Parking Structure 6 (L-62, L-63, and S-6), and Parking Structure 1 (S-1) near Cantor Arts Center are free lots, and are a short walk from Stanford Stadium.  Please refer to the Parking and Tailgate Guide and Map for specific lots and their designations.

How do I pay for parking on game day?
All General parking lots (Lots 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13) will have dedicated cashiers collecting money (cash only) and distributing receipts to be used as game day parking passes.  Cashiers will be able to distribute change, but exact change ($20 cash) is appreciated. All other lots are designated reserved parking lots and require advanced purchase parking passes.

Do I need to purchase a parking pass when I renew my season tickets, or can I purchase it later?
It is highly recommended that season ticket holders purchase a parking pass during the season ticket renewal process. By purchasing during the season ticket renewal process you will be guaranteed a parking spot in a designated Season Ticket Parking lot.

Will Stanford start charging for parking at other Stanford Athletic events?
Stanford Athletics has been exploring the possibility of implementing a parking fee for men's and women's basketball; however, at this time there are no plans to do so.
