Summer Sailing: Finalist for the Youth America's Cup team, which will sail prior to the world's largest sailing event on the San Francisco Bay in late 2013.
2011-12: Named a coed All-American skipper by the ICSA...All-PCCSC skipper... part of a conference-first, six league titles during academic year, winning the team and coed titles in the spring... sailed at the team national championships in Austin, where the Cardinal finished eighth... also helped the Cardinal to an eighth place finish with Haley Kirk as his crew in the B Division at the national coed championships... also produced a franchise best third place showing at the national coed semifinals in Annapolis, sailing the B Division to the second-best divisional score... skippered eight events during the season... named the national sailor of the week, with Haley Kirk, after they won the coed PCCSC title by winning five of six races... also part of winning Big Sail team, going 2-0 against the Bears on the San Francisco Bay... finished third by going a combined 21-9 at the St. Mary's College of Maryland team race in March... sailed the Cardinal to a second place showing at the 83rd running of the Boston Dinghy Cup, as he and Kirk won the C Division with 14 top-five finishes in 18 races.
2010-11: Skippered eight regattas, winning twice ... a part of Stanford's eighth-place performance in the National Team Championships and the Cardinal's 13th-place finish at the Coed Nationals ... started the season strong, winning the PCC Men's Singlehanded 2-Day after finishing first in half of his 14 races ... helped win the B Division with a first-place finish at the PCCSC Spring Coeds on April 10 ... also secured a C Division win by taking second at the PCC Fall Dinghy Championships in early November.
Prior to Stanford: Competed for the U.S. at the 49er Europeans in the summer of 2010, sailing in Gydnia, Poland... in 2009 sailed for the U.S. at the 29 World Championships and the 420 Worlds in Riva del Garda, Italy... in 2007, sailed in Cork, Canada at the ISAF Youth Worlds... in 2006 sailed at the Radial Youth Worlds in Marina del Ray in Southern California.
Personal: Son of Pat and Beverly Toole... has one older sister, Aubrey... his sister, Aubrey, is a member of the Cal Sailing team... majoring in engineering.
