MLB Draft / Summer Ball: Drafted in the 18th round by his hometown Dodgers in the 2012 Draft... playing in the NECBL and the Holyoke team in the summer of 2011, hit .301 with 28 runs over 35 games... had six doubles and three homers, along with 12 RBIs. Made just one error as one of the team's infielders.... played for Torrington (Conn.) in the New England Collegiate Summer League in 2010, earning all star status before getting injured after playing in the first 10 games. Hit .516 with six runs, four doubles and four doubles in 31 at-bats.

Stanford Career: Two-year reserve infielder moved to catcher and earned honorable mention All-Pac-12 honors after batting .321... has a .306 career average over 104 games with 45 runs and 46 RBIs.

As a junior in 2012: Honorable mention All-Pac-12... All-Regional Tourney... 50 starts at catcher and 1 at DH... finished first year as a starter with a .321 average over 54 games with 35 runs and 32 RBIs with 11 doubles, one triple and two homers.... had 16 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games... threw out 9-of-27 base stealers... initial watch list for the Johnny Bench Award in early April... had led team in average for most of April... hit .500 (6-for-12) in sweep of Utah with two multi-hit games, incudling three hits on Saturday (3/19)... double in eighth v. As a Sophomore in 2011: Appeared in 14 games in his second season, batting .250 with two doubles and two RBIs ... had 3 starts at second base, 1 at designated hitter and 1 at short. Also played third ... RBI single in start at short v. LBSU in the opener (3/25) ... backup infielder as a freshman.

As a Freshman in 2010: As a true freshman in 2010, appeared in 36 games, starting eight of the last nine games at designated hitter ... also spelled time at third and second base, hitting .286 with 10 runs, three doubles and two triples ... drove in 12 ... had three straight games with an RBI and five of six games in early May ... his RBI single against Hawai'i (5/18) was the third straight game he had an RBI ... pinch-hit RBI single tied game at 7-7 in eighth v. WSU (5/14), following a pinch-hit, two-out game-winning RBI double in 10th at Long Beach State (5/8) ... also had a two-run single at Oregon State (4/18) ... made three-straight starts in mid-April, producing a two-run single at Santa Clara (4/13) ... in back-to-back starts with Oregon (4/10) posted an RBI triple among his two hits in game one, before an RBI single in game two.
