Senior Elliott Heath (Winona, Minn. / Winona High School) of the Stanford men's track team was selected as the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of January 24-30.

Heath had a big weekend at the Razorback Invitational in Arkansas. On Friday, he anchored the distance medley relay with a 1,600-meter split of 3:55.77 as the Cardinal took the meet title in come-from-behind fashion. The time was a NCAA auto standard and the fastest time in the world this year. On Saturday, Heath rebounded to win the 3,000 meters in 7:52.27. The time was also a NCAA auto standard and third on the NCAA list so far this year. The senior is a three-time All-American and has now guaranteed himself a trip back to the NCAA meet this year.

Heath is earning his second Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season. He was honored in the fall after winning the Pac-10 title in cross country. Elliott and his brother Garrett Heath are one of two sets of brothers (Also Drac and Janson Wigo - water polo) to each earn Muscle Milk honors during their Stanford careers.

Also nominated: Kristie Ahn (women's tennis), Anthony Brown (men's basketball), Meg Hostage (women's diving), Allyse Ishino (women's gymnastics), Kaite Nelms (women's track and field).
