STANFORD, Calif.- Senior Hilary Barte (Chatsworth, Calif.) of the women's tennis team has been named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for May 23-30.

This is the third honor of Barte's career and the second of the season for a women's tennis player as Kristie Ahn was the recipient on May 2.

Barte capped her career with a strong run at the NCAA Championships, leading Stanford to a runner-up team finish while producing impressive showings on the individual side. Partnering with sophomore Mallory Burdette, the duo captured Stanford's 14th overall collegiate doubles title with a 7-6 (6), 6-0 win over Clemson's Josipa Bek and Keri Wong. It was the second straight NCAA doubles title for Barte, who won last year's crown with Lindsay Burdette.

Barte also advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles Championship, earning All-America honors in both singles and doubles for the fourth straight year.
