Nolan Named Muscle Milk Athlete of the Week

STANFORD, Calif.-- Stanford freshman David Nolan was named the Muscle Milk Athlete of the Week after earning the Pac-12 Swimmer of the Meet honor following six wins at last week's championships.

The freshman, who ranks nationally in the top-15 in five events, won the 100 and 200 back as well as the 200 IM with career-bests, which each rank in the Stanford record book top-five. Nolan was also a part of three relay wins as the Cardinal won its 31st consecutive conference title.

Nolan joins women's basketball player Nnemkadi Ogwumike and wrestler Nick Amuchastegui as the only two-time winners this year.

The men's swimmers are off this week at they prepare for the NCAA Championships. The divers compete at the Zone Championships starting on Thursday.
