TUCSON, Ariz.- No. 13 Stanford experienced little challenge from No. 75 Arizona on Friday afternoon, posting a 7-0 shutout to open a two-match conference road swing.

The Cardinal (15-3, 7-1 Pac-12) has won four in a row and 11 of its last 12 matches overall.

Meanwhile, Arizona (9-12, 1-6 Pac-12) has dropped four consecutive contests.

Stanford looked sharp in notching its third straight shutout and eighth of the year overall.

After claiming the doubles point for a 1-0 lead, easy victories from Nicole Gibbs (6-3, 6-1) put Stanford on the brink of clinching the match.

Ellen Tsay made it official, defeating Susan Mc Rann 6-0, 6-4 at the No. 5 position.

Stanford returns to action tomorrow, facing No. 21 Arizona State at 12 p.m.
