Stanford men’s gymnast Dennis Zaremski (New York, N.Y./Columbia Prep) was named the Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 20-26.
Zaremski claimed two individual victories and set collegiate bests on rings and parallel bars against No. 2 Michigan and No. 6 California.
Zaremski delivered a nearly flawless performance on rings, scoring a meet-best 15.950 to finish first by 0.750. He earned a collegiate-high 15.350 on parallel bars to help Stanford earn the highest team score in the event (72.100) and the lead heading into the final rotation.
It is the first Stanford/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor for Zaremski and the first for men’s gymnastics in 2014.
