Stanford opens the season on Aug. 29 at Iowa State on the Pac-12 Networks. The Cardinal’s home opener is set for Sept. 5 against defending national champion Penn State. The match will begin at 6 p.m. PT on the Pac-12 Networks.

Junior outside hitter Jordan Burgess was a second-team All-America selection by Volleyball Magazine and received honorable mention honors from the AVCA.

The Cardinal add rookies Sarah Benjamin (5-8, DS, San Diego, Calif.) and Sidney Brown (6-0, OH, Tampa, Fla.) to the roster this season. Redshirt freshmen Merete Lutz (6-8, MB, Houston, Texas) and Ivana Vanjak (6-4, OH, Bad Soden, Germany) will also be available for the upcoming campaign.
