STANFORD, Calif. – The awards continue to roll in for the Stanford men’s golf program, which ended its season this past week in the semifinals of the NCAA Championships.

Patrick Rodgers and Cameron Wilson were named PING first team All-Americans.

Wilson claimed the Division I Arnold Palmer Individual National Champion Award presented by Callaway for earning medalist honors at the NCAA Championships.

Wilson carded a roller coaster opening round with three birdies and four bogeys to sit at 1-over after the first round.

A bogey-free second round that included five birdies and an eagle catapulted him into first place. A bogey on 18 forced him into a playoff with Georgia Tech’s Ollie Schniederjans. Both players had opportunities to win during the first two holes of the playoff, but Wilson sealed the victory on the third playoff hole.

Wilson and Dominick Francks also found a spot on the Pac-12 Conference All-Academic second team. Rodgers and David Boote received honorable mention status. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
