STANFORD, Calif. – Patrick Rodgers and Cameron Wilson were named to the PING All-West Region team, as announced Thursday.
All-region honors went to 157 players across six regions – Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central and West – for the 2013-14 season.
Rodgers, Stanford’s first ever winner of the Ben Hogan Award, was this season’s Pac-12 Conference Player of the Year. He has six wins under his belt this season to tie Tiger Woods’ school-record 11 career victories.
Wilson was a Ben Hogan Award and Byron Nelson Award finalist. The senior claimed a spot on the All-Pac-12 first team and Capital One Academic All-District first team. Wilson won two events during the regular season, including the Fighting Illini Invitational and Western Intercollegiate.
Wilson and Rodgers will lead Stanford into the upcoming NCAA Championships, which will be contested May 23-28 at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas.
