STANFORD, Calif. – Patrick Rodgers and Cameron Wilson were named Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars, as announced recently by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Wilson, Stanford’s third NCAA individual champion, was a second-team honoree on the Capital One Academic All-America team last month. Wilson also was named Stanford’s Biff Hoffman Award, given annually to the athletic department’s most outstanding male senior.

Rodgers has earned a pair of top-50 finishes while playing in four PGA events since turning pro after his junior season concluded in May. The three-time All-American posted 11 individual wins during his three years on The Farm.

To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50 percent of his team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.

A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
