Well hello Stanford Softball Fans!
Long time no chat! With traveling, finals week, and spring break I definitely lost track of time. But anyway, I hope everyone had an excellent week and are ready to watch some Stanford softball this weekend!
About two weeks ago (wow it has been a while!) the team headed out to the desert to play Arizona State. Though the games didn’t turn out as we would have hoped, we continue to work hard.
If you didn’t know, we had spring break last week and we all took advantage of it by relaxing in a variety of ways. Thanks to our generous book supplier, Kylie Sorenson, many of us read some of the books from the Divergent series (or like me, the entire series …). The team even saw the movie together!
Not all of our spring break endeavors were quite so nerdy. Some of us went on hikes, went to the city, or visited the Stanford barn (well when it wasn’t pouring rain).
Many of us also went to the other athletic events on campus to support our fellow student-athletes.
As an added bonus, our team manager Caroline came home from her quarter abroad, surprising Boo and all of us (actually, mainly Boo)! All in all our spring break had some very welcomed time off, but this week it is back to class and softball.
This week we are off to Tucson, Ariz., to take on the Wildcats. Make sure to follow all the action by following Stanford softball on Twitter and Instagram! I hope everyone has a great week!
