Why did you decide to come to Stanford?
After visiting out here I couldn’t see myself going anywhere else. Cali is the place to be.
When you were a kid and even now, who would be your role models in the sport?
My older sister Hayley has always been my number one role model. Angela Tincher and Michele Smith are my softball role models.
What is one tip you would give to a student-athlete to be successful in school and their sport?
Never compare yourself to anyone else but your best self.
What is your favorite memory of your softball career thus far?
Competing at the Little League Softball World Series.
What are your favorite and least favorite training drills?
Batting practice > rollies.
What is your major at Stanford, and what are your career aspirations?
I’m undeclared, but I want to announce for the Yankees or be part of the Saturday Night Live cast.
What is one personal goal for the 2014 season?
Be the absolute best I can be everyday and get better every time I touch a ball.
What is the best advice you have ever gotten, and from whom?
“Just have fun,” - Coach E, my old football coach.
