Why did you decide to come to Stanford?
Who wouldn’t want to go to Stanford? The university offers the best of the best, both academically and athletically.
When you were a kid, and even now, who is your role model in sports?
Mia Hamm was and will always be my biggest inspiration when it comes to sports.
What is one tip you would give to a student-athlete to be successful in school and their sport?
Manage your time and value your sleep! It’s important to take care of yourself.
What is your favorite memory of your softball career thus far?
Sweeping Cal last year at Cal! Go Card!
What are your favorite and least favorite training drills?
Favorite: Coaches vs. Sides of the Fields (we play a point game to see how many balls the coaches can hit past us in the 3-4 and 5-6 holes) … it’s all about diving and getting that jersey dirty.
Least: Rapid Catching reps, they leave you breathless!
What is your major at Stanford, and what are your career aspirations?
I am majoring in communication with a minor in Spanish. I want to stay around sports, hopefully working for ESPN, the NFL, or MLB in a field of media.
What is the best advice you have ever gotten, and from whom?
“Control what you can control and let the rest go.” – My parents
What are three things on your bucket list?
-Travel to all seven continents.
-Become fluent in 3 different languages.
-Complete a marathon and maybe even an Ironman.
