Excellence on and off the Track

Twelve Stanford track and field athletes earned national All-Academic honors, as announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Seven Stanford women and five men were named to the teams, and all but two also were All-Americans in 2014.

In addition, Stanford teams each were among those receiving Team Academic honors, for having a combined grade-point average above 3.0. The Cardinal women carried a 3.38 team GPA and the men had a 3.33 GPA.

The following are Stanford’s individual USTFCCCA All-Academic winners for the 2014 indoor and outdoor seasons. The criteria for selection were sophomore standing with a 3.0 GPA or above, competing in an NCAA championship or preliminary meet, and by their national or regional ranking.
