Six Named Scholar All-America

STANFORD, Calif. -- Stanford placed six members of its women’s swimming and diving team on the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America list, the organization announced. Three Cardinal swimmers and one diver were on the first team, while one swimmer and one diver made the honorable mention list.

The Scholar All-America award is presented to college and university swimmers and divers who have achieved a cumulative, or term grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the academic term coinciding with their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA/CCCAA Swimming and Diving Championships and have qualified for and competed at the Championship. Honorable mention student-athletes met the 3.5 GPA criteria, but did not compete at their respective championship event.

All four first team representatives from Stanford earned All-America honors at the NCAA championship meet.
