Competing in the senior division, rising sophomore Akash Modi placed 12th, while alums Eddie Penev (’13) and Josh Dixon (’11) finished 18th and 19th, respectively.

Penev and Modi retained their spots on the U.S. Senior National Team and were named to the Senior Pan American Championships team. The duo traveled to Toronto, Canada, this past weekend for the Pan American Championships and helped the Team USA claim gold. Penev competed on vault, while Modi served as an alternate.

In the junior division of the P&G Championships, Stanford’s three incoming freshmen competing at the event had strong showings. Robert Neff claimed the bronze medal and was followed by Ryan Sheppard (fourth) and Jacob Barrus (sixth).
