WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Stanford junior forward Chioma Ubogagu was named Pac-12 Offensive  Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.

Ubogagu played a role in four of Stanford's five goals over the weekend in earning a weekend sweep of Oregon and Oregon State. She scored one goal, had two assists, and had a shot that led to another.

Ubogagu assisted on the winning goal of a 2-1 victory over Oregon on Friday with a flick header to Courtney Verloo, who buried the shot in the 82nd minute.

In a 4-1 victory over Oregon State on Sunday, Ubogagu had two hard shots that led to first-half goals. The first couldn’t be handled by the goalkeeper, and Sydney Payne took advantage with a header off the rebound.

A few minutes later, Ubogagu took a 22-yard free kick that bounced off the woodwork and into the path of Alex Doll for a goal.

In the final minute of play, Ubogagu took a centering pass from Ryan Walker-Hartshorn and struck a left-footed shot that snuck inside the right post to close the scoring.

Ubogagu has two goals and six assists this season.
