Stanford shut down Arizona State for three quarters in the first meeting this season (

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – The Stanford Cardinal (10-2, 7-2 Pac-12 North) will travel to Arizona State (10-2, 8-1 Pac-12 South) on Saturday, December 7, in the third annual Pac-12 Football Championship Game for the right to represent the Pac-12 Conference in the 100th anniversary of the Rose Bowl Game.

The Pac-12 Championship Game will be televised by ESPN at 4:45 p.m. PT/5:45 p.m. MT with Brad Nessler (play-by-play), Todd Blackledge (analyst) and Holly Rowe (sideline) on the call.

Tickets are available through as well as online through the Pac-12 website. Seat locations will be assigned on December 4, based on a customer's level of engagement with Stanford Athletics and Stanford University. Purchasers who select "print-at-home" delivery will receive tickets with seat locations via email on December 4. Tickets will not be mailed, they are only available "print-at-home" or will-call. 

No. 12 Arizona State secured the home field as host of the Championship Game with its 58-21 win over Arizona Saturday evening, finishing with the best conference record.

No. 8 Stanford completed the regular season tied for first with Oregon in the Pac-12 North Division and earned the right to play for the conference championship for a second straight year via its 26-20 victory over the Ducks.

Stanford is the only Pac-12 team to defeat the Sun Devils this year, as the Cardinal jumped out to a 29-0 halftime lead back on Sept. 21 en route to a 42-28 win.
