STANFORD, Calif. – Three Stanford women’s golfers were named to the All-Pac-12 Conference team, as announced Thursday by the league. The teams were voted upon by the 11 conference coaches.
First-team honors went to Mariah Stackhouse with Lauren Kim finding a spot on the second team. Casey Danielson was one of four freshmen to earn honorable mention standing.
The Cardinal trio tied for ninth at 3-over during last week’s Pac-12 Championships at Trysting Tree Golf Club, propelling Stanford to its first league crown since 1999.
Stanford was one of 24 teams selected to play in the NCAA East Regional Women’s Golf Championships at SouthWood Golf Club in Tallahassee, Fla. The 54-hole event will be held May 8-10.
