McCawley is the second consecutive field hockey player to earn the weekly honor after teammate Lauren Becker claimed the inaugural Twitter poll award last week.
It is the first time Stanford has had two or more Stanford student-athlete of the week awards since 2010 when Stephanie Byrne (Oct. 4) and Becky Dru (Nov. 8) claimed honors.
Fans can participate in the weekly poll on Mondays with results revealed on Tuesdays.
