STANFORD, Calif. – Former Stanford student-athlete Graham Brockington will return to The Farm as the Enlight Foundation Assistant Men’s Golf Coach, as announced Friday by Knowles Family Director of Men’s Golf Conrad Ray.

“We are very excited to welcome Graham Brockington back to The Farm as the Enlight Foundation Assistant Men’s Golf Coach at Stanford. Graham brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the art of being a Stanford student-athlete performing at the highest of levels. He made an impact here as a player and I see that trend continuing as a coach. He is passionate about winning, as well as the culture of Stanford University and Stanford Athletics.”

Brockington replaces the vacancy left by Philip Rowe, who earlier this week was named assistant coach at UNLV after a four-year stint on the Cardinal staff. In fact, Rowe coached Brockington for one season on The Farm. Brockington, a standout player during his prep career in Southern California, was recruited by -- and played for -- Ray and will now work alongside the Cardinal skipper.

“I could not be more excited to return to Stanford,” Brockington said. “Stanford has already had a tremendous effect on my life in just a few short years since graduating. I cherish my four years as a student-athlete and I cannot wait to begin a new journey at Stanford as a coach."

A Pac-12 Conference All-Academic first team honoree, Brockington three times was named the team’s most improved player. He was a member of Cardinal squads which finished second at the 2008 NCAA Championships and 20th in the 2009 tournament. His 2010 squad advanced to the quarterfinals of the national finale.

Brockington graduated from Stanford in 2011 with a degree in economics. He worked for Morgan Stanley and most recently in New York City as a senior consultant at Deloitte.

During his undergraduate years, Brockington spent his summers at Stanford working as an instructor at the Cardinal’s golf camps.
