Ryan O'Rourke
Two Third Place Finishes

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – Two rising sophomores Ryan O’Rourke and Max Freundlich placed third in their respective races Tuesday at the Under-23 World Championship Trials on Mercer Lake.

O’Rourke was the first to compete as he was entered in for the Men’s B 1x Final. He finished with a time of 7:42.32 for third place in the race.

Freundlich was in the rep of the Men’s B 2x after taking third in his heat yesterday. He came in third once again, recording a time of 7:02.40 in the rep.

That ends the racing for Stanford men’s rowing representatives at the U-23 Trials. Kaess Smit is also competing at the U-23 Selection Camp for the U.S., while Charlie Walker is trying to make the Canadian U-23 team.
