STANFORD, Calif. – The Stanford sand volleyball team (0-6) will play host to California on Friday, April 4 at 3:30 p.m. PT at the ACSR Sand Courts on the Stanford campus.
The Cardinal, which is in its second season of sand volleyball, will meet the Golden Bears (1-2) for the first time. The teams’ top two pairs will kick things off at 3:30 p.m. on Friday followed by the No. 3 pairs. Friday’s match will conclude with the No. 4 and No. 5 pairs playing simultaneously with the possibility of exhibition matches to follow.
Cal dropped its season opener at Pacific (4-1) before defeating San Jose State (5-0) at home. The Bears have also played San Francisco, falling 3-2.
