STANFORD, Calif. – No. 11 Stanford will leave California for the first time this season to take on defending Pac-12 champion No. 15 Oregon State in a dual meet that will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Network Monday at 7 p.m.

The Cardinal (10-0, 2-0 Pac-12) will look to keep its perfect record intact and earn its first victory at Oregon State since March 25, 2006, at the Pac-10 Championships. Stanford defeated the Beavers last year during the regular season in a tri-meet on The Farm, 197.200-197.175. Oregon State holds the all-time advantage in the series, 56-27.

Stanford delivered an impressive performance in its most recent outing, scoring a season-best 197.275 to finish first in a quad meet at UC Davis. The Cardinal claimed or tied the highest score in all four events and had gymnasts earn individual victories in each event.

Oregon State is also coming off a season-best performance, scoring 196.425 to defeat Iowa State. The Beavers set season highs on three of four events.

A Dominating Day in Davis
• Stanford delivered the complete team performance it has been searching for this year, posting a season-best 197.275 to finish first in a quad meet at UC Davis it its most recent outing. The Cardinal finished ahead of UC Davis (195.875), San Jose State (195.400) and Utah State (194.400).

• Stanford tied or recorded the highest team score in all four events and had gymnasts earn individual titles in each event.

• The Cardinal scored a season-high 49.600 on beam – just 0.15 shy of the program’s all-time best score of 49.750 – to close out the Davis meet.

• Five Cardinal gymnasts scored 9.875 or higher on beam, with four in the 9.900 range. Shona Morgan opened with a collegiate-best 9.950, while Amanda Spinner tabbed the meet’s highest score with a collegiate-high 9.975. It was Spinner’s fourth consecutive individual victory on beam in as many meets.

• Freshman Nicolette McNair claimed the individual victory on vault with a collegiate-best 9.925 and competed in the all-around for the first time, finishing second with a 39.075.

• Samantha Shapiro claimed her first individual win of the year with a 9.925 on bars, while Pauline Hanset notched her second individual victory of the season on floor with a 9.875.

• Kristina Vaculik continued to be a force in multiple events, recording 9.900 on bars and beam, and earning a 9.825 on vault. Vaculik has scored a 9.800 or higher in 12 of 13 events this season and accumulated four scores of 9.900 or higher in the past two meets.

Monday’s Opponent: No. 15 Oregon State

• Oregon State is coming off a 196.425-194.850 home victory over Iowa State, in which the Beavers scored season-highs on three of four events. The win was head coach Tanya Chaplin’s 318th, setting a new Oregon State record.

• The Beavers were led by Kelsi Blalock who finished first on vault (9.875) and floor (9.875). Kaytianna McMillian placed first on beam with a 9.900, while Chelsea Tang tied for the top score on bars with a 9.875.

• Oregon State leads the all-time series against Stanford, 56-27, and has been strong at home against the Cardinal. In the last meeting between the two teams in Corvallis, the Beavers had an all-time program-best performance to claim the Pac-12 title. Stanford finished fourth in the meet, its 12th top-four finish in as many years.
