Looking To Stop SoCal Slide
Following Thursday’s 91-74 loss at UCLA, Stanford has now dropped 16 of its last 17 games (0-9 against UCLA, 1-7 against USC) on the SoCal road swing. The lone victory came two years ago in a 59-47 win at USC to snap a string of 13 consecutive regular-season losses. Stanford has not swept the SoCal trip since 2005, defeating UCLA 75-64 before taking down USC 78-70.

Stanford shot a season-low 35.0 percent in a 53-51 upset at No. 10/10 Connecticut on Dec. 18 ... The Cardinal was also hindered by 19 turnovers, its most since committing 22 in a 71-59 home win over Denver last December. It was an uncharacteristic total for Stanford, which had registered fewer than 10 turnovers in each of its last three games ... Chasson Randle added 14 points on 3-16 shooting but was 7-8 from the foul line ... Stanford’s nine three-pointers were its most since knocking down 11-20 from beyond the arc against UC Davis on Dec. 14 ...
