Mosse Could Really Fly

Men’s swimmer Anthony Mosse ’88 was a 10-time All-American and the 1988 NCAA champion in the 200-yard butterfly. He helped lead the Cardinal to national titles in 1985, 1986 and 1987. Mosse was a two-time Pac-10 200 butterfly champion and also finished first in the 400 medley relay at the 1988 conference meet. Mosse competed at two Summer Olympic Games, earning a bronze medal at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Korea, where he was one of four Cardinal student-athletes on the team. Mosse also won a silver medal at the 1986 World Championships and capped his career by capturing the 200 butterfly at the 1990 Commonwealth Games, defending the title he won 1986.
