BOCHUM, Germany – Freshman Eliza Klyce continued her international competitions over the weekend as she competed in the Bochum Foil Junior World Cup in Germany on Saturday.
Klyce was one of 12 competitors from the United States who competed in the event. She finished 94th overall after posting one victory in six matches.
In her third contest of the tournament, Klyce picked up a 5-3 win against Nicole Mae Hui Shan Wong of Singapore. Klyce also went head-to-head with fencers from Germany, Hungary, Italy and Poland.
Klyce last competed in mid-November at the Junior World Cup stop in Bratislava, Slovakia. This was the last competition for the junior foil world cup in 2013.
