STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford will release a limited number of Standing Room Only tickets for its Nov. 7 Oregon game. The game, long since sold out, kicks off at 6 p.m. (PT) and will be shown live on ESPN. Fans now have a limited opportunity to gain admission and watch from various locations within Stanford Stadium.
Using its popular Predictable Dynamic Pricing structure, single game tickets sold out in record time for the Oregon game and the pricing structure will again be used for the Standing Room Only offering.
Stanford Stadium has been sold out for all four home games with victories over San Jose State, No. 23 Arizona State, No. 15 Washington and No. 9 UCLA.
Oregon enters this week ranked second nationally.
Customers who choose to buy tickets at the initial price assure themselves the first access of available tickets. Customers who would rather pay a lower price have the option to wait for the price to decrease, but risk the chance of tickets selling out before the price falls to their desired level. Tickets are expected to go quickly and highlight the value provided through Stanford’s season ticket packages, which sold some 33,000 tickets this year.
Season ticket prices ranged as low as $249 and $187 for young alumni tickets for this year’s seven-game package. Family plans allowing for four general admission tickets could be had for $359 for the season before selling out.
Mini plans were also popular, allowing fans to choose one home game from each month of the season at prices between $159 and $199 before those, too, sold out.
