Pacific rebounded from the loss to the Cardinal to win both of its Sunday games and finish fifth. Featuring reigning Peter J. Cutino Award winner Balazs Erdelyi (33 goals) along with Goran Tomasevic (28) and Alex Obert (14) on the attack, and Alex Malkis in the cage (11.06 saves per game, 6.89 goals-against average), the Tigers are considered by many a dark horse pick to finish in the top four of the MPSF and threaten for an at-large berth to the National Collegiate Championship.
