A few quick-hitters from the schedule:
Non-conference contests airing on the Pac-12 Network include: Bucknell (Nov. 8 – 7 p.m.), Texas Southern (Nov. 21 – 7 p.m.), South Dakota State (Dec. 1 – 5 p.m.), UC Davis (Dec. 14 – 5 p.m.) and Cal Poly (Dec. 29 – 4 p.m.).

The highly-anticipated matchup against BYU will kick off ESPN’s 24-hour Tip-Off Marathon. Dec. 14 represents the only doubleheader on the schedule. Stanford hosts UC Davis at 5 p.m., following the Stanford-Gonzaga women’s game at 1 p.m.
Stanford’s Dec. 18 game at Connecticut will be televised on ESPN2 at 6 p.m. PT. It’s also the first contest of a home-and-home series that brings Connecticut to Maples Pavilion in 2014.
Both rivalry games against California have been shifted to midweek. The Cardinal hosts the Golden Bears on Thursday, Jan. 2 (6 p.m. – Fox Sports 1) while the rematch in Berkeley is slated for Wednesday, Feb. 5 (6 p.m. – ESPN2).
Stanford will play the Oregon schools only once in 2014, with both contests coming on the road. Stanford travels to Oregon State on Jan. 9 (7 p.m. – P12NET) and Oregon on Jan. 12 (2 p.m. – Fox Sports 1).
Stanford’s Jan. 15 tilt against Washington State (7 p.m. – P12NET) is one of three home conference games that will be played on Wednesday. The Cardinal’s biggest win last year came at home on Wednesday against a Pac-12 opponent, upsetting No. 10/12 Oregon 76-52.
Arizona, projected by several national media outlets as a national championship contender, visits Maples Pavilion on Wednesday, Jan. 29 (6 p.m.) in a contest that will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
The Feb. 22 contest against UCLA has been identified as one of two options on ESPN’s College GameDay schedule. Also in consideration on that Saturday is Arizona at Colorado, with the decision to be finalized two weeks prior to the game. If selected for College GameDay, Stanford will host UCLA at 6 p.m. PT on ESPN. If not selected, the Cardinal and Bruins will square off at 3 p.m. PT on ESPN2.
The Cardinal was 3-0 in conference games played on Sunday last year. There are three more Sunday Pac-12 games in 2014, including a trip to Arizona on March 2 (5 p.m. – ESPNU).
This year’s scheduling alignment has the Cardinal playing Colorado and Utah only once in the final homestand of the season. Colorado visits on March 5 (6 p.m. – ESPN2) while Utah arrives on The Farm on March 8 (11:30 a.m. – P12NET).
