Stanford women's rowing will be represented by three rowers at the World Rowing Under-23 Championships that open up Wednesday. Sophomore Filippa Karrfelt will compete for Sweden in the single sculls while incoming freshmen Ruth Narode and Lilly Tinapple will compete in the eights class for the United States and Australia, respectively.
Karrfelt finished her rookie season on The Farm as part of the II Eight that finished eighth in the nation at the 2013 NCAA Championships in May.
The 2013 World Rowing Under-23 Championships take place this Wednesday-Sunday in Linz, Austria.
Heats begin Wednesday and continue Thursday, with the repechages, semifinals and finals taking place over the weekend.
