Stanford women's water polo standouts Kiley Neushul and Ashley Grossman will be part of the USA roster that competes at the FINA Junior World Championships this August.
The event is set for August 19-25 in Volos, Greece. Team USA opens group play Aug. 19 against Kazakhstan and continues preliminary action against Italy and New Zealand.
The event caps a busy summer for Neushul, who is currently with the Senior National Team as it prepares for action in a few days' time at the FINA World Championships in Barcelona. Since helping lead the Cardinal to a national runner-up finish in May, the ACWPC All-American has been a fixture on the senior roster. Last month she helped the U.S. to a bronze medal at the FINA World League Super Final in Beijing.
Grossman, who returned from injury during the middle of the 2013 collegiate campaign to score 20 goals for the Cardinal, will be participating in her third FINA Junior World Championship. She was previously part of the U.S. squads at the 2009 and 2011 events.
