INDIANAPOLIS – Lia Neal highlighted the final day of competition for Stanford swimming at USA Swimming's Phillips 66 National Championships, earning a 10th-place finish in the 50m free Saturday at the Indiana University Natatorium.
After posting a prelim time of 25.76, Neal responded with a 25.45 in the finals to place 10th. Allison Brown competed in the 200m IM prelims and touched in at 2:18.62.
Stanford women’s swimmers combined for 10 top-10 finishes at the five-day competition.

This meet was the sole qualifier for the U.S. team for the pool competition at the FINA World Championships, which runs July 28-Aug. 4 in Barcelona. The winner of each Olympic event claimed an automatic spot on the roster.
