2011-12 (Sophomore): Swam 15th in the 50 free (23.05) and 24th at the Pac-12 100 free to close out her season... swam third in the 50 free in a dual with ASU during the regular season.

2010-11 (Freshman): Finished 21st in the C Finals of the 100 free with a time of 50.73 and 22nd in the finals of the 50 free (23.19).... set bests of 23.08 in the prelims of the 50 free, the finals of the 100 free and in the 200 free (1:53.14) at Pac-10s.

High School, Club and Personal Data: Four-year letterman in swimming at Bella Vista High in the San Jauquin Valley... four-time prep All-American... had the nation's 12th-fastest 50-free time amongst 17 year olds... won five state individual titles over four seasons... won the 50 free three straight years (2008-10) and the 100 free her last two seasons... was third 50 free as a freshman and third in the 100 free as a sophomore in 2008... named an academic All-American in 2009 and was a scholar athlete from 2008 to 2010... set the high school record in the 50 and 100 freestyle and the state championship meet record in the 50 free... team finished second at state in 2009... daughter of Bob and Anne Whitford... has one younger brother, Broderick... mother, then Anne Tweedy, who was fourth at the 1980 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 400 IM and is a former American record holder.
