We are a group of supporters who share and support the vision of the Stanford Squash Program.
The financial support of the Friends is essential to ensure the continual development and successful execution of the broader vision of the Stanford Squash Program. It includes (1) Stanford University Women’s and Men’s Squash teams. Continue the tradition of success and valuable experience enjoyed by the team members including a nationally competitive travel schedule, full time coaching and training, academic counseling, equipment, uniforms, and friendships for life. (2) Community: Continue to expand the squash program at Stanford as well as the community at large through the Stanford Squash Club. (3) Outreach education/squash program for kids: Continue and expand the urban squash program, through Xtreme Squash, by providing academic enrichment and squash to kids in middle and high schools, especially those from underserved communities.
An endowment of 4 million dollars is the target for the Stanford Squash Program to become financially self-sufficient. In addition to our existing endowment of $1,000,000, a single donor has helped the launch of our major fundraising campaign with a generous donation pledge of $500,000.
