Stanford held its first open practice of the 2013 spring season Saturday morning at the Elliott Football Practice Fields.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, Wash....played for head coach Tom Larsen...three-year letterwinner...PrepStar All-West Region selection...Associated Press all-state pick...named to Tacoma News Tribune's all-area team...also named Tacoma Athletic Commission Athlete of the Year...selected as most valuable player of Narrows League...totaled 44 receptions for 918 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior...also had 42 tackles and six interceptions as a cornerback...also served as Bellarmine's punter and punt returner...had 67 receptions for 1,078 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior, earning all-state and Narrows League MVP honors...graduated holding Bellarmine single-season records for receiving yardage (1,078), yards per catch (20.86) and touchdown receptions (13) record holder for yards per catch (16.87)...also lettered in soccer and track and field...led Bellarmine in scoring with 23 goals as a junior...ran the 100, 200 and 4x100 meter relay...also participated in the long jump...parents are Tony and LoAnn Rector...has one older brother, Sean...born in Tacoma, Wash....full name is Michael Anthony Rector.
