2011-12 (Freshman): Won the 100 free in the dual meet with Arizona State and was a part of winning Pacific Invite 200 free relay team in the fall.

High School: Played water polo for two seasons and swam three years for Eastside Catholic High... eight-time individual state champion, winning the 100 free four times, the 200 free and 50 free, twice... left as the Washington state record holder in the 200 free, set his senior year in 2011... was a 12-time prep All-American and three-time scholastic All-American... named the Washington State Swimmer of the Year in 2010 and 2011... set the Metro League record in the 50, 100 and 200 free, as well as the 100 back... was the first swimmer in Washington history to collect a perfect 8-for-8 in state swimming individual titles... swam for the Bellevue Club since 2003.
