At Stanford: Earned first-team All-America honors in the distance medley relay in 2011 ... breakthrough race at the 2011 NCAA Cross Country Championships showed his range all the way to 10,000 meters.

2013 Season: Indoors - Ran the mile at two meets, with a best of 4:08.55 at the UW Invitational to finish 14th in the invitational section.

2012 Season: Outdoors - Ran a season-best 3.48.66 for the 1,500 at the Big Meet, to place second ... did not compete in the postseason. Indoors - Did not compete.

2011 Season: Outdoors - An NCAA Preliminary Round qualifier in the 1,500 ... qualified for the final of the 1,500 at the Pac-10 Championships after running 3:46.79 in the prelims ... the Big Meet runner-up after running a career best 3:44.13 in the 1,500 ... ran a career-best 800 time of 1:49.54 at the Payton Jordan Invitational. Indoors - Earned the first All-America honor of his career after helping Stanford to eighth place in the distance medley relay at the NCAA Championships ... the MPSF runner-up in the mile, running 4:01.67 to help Stanford to the team title ... ran a career best of 4:00.78 in the mile at the Husky Classic.

2010 Season: Outdoors - An NCAA Preliminary Round qualifier in the 1,500 ... earned a season-best of 3:46.59 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational ... placed third at the Big Meet in the 800 with a season-best time of 1:50.54 ... a Pac-10 finalist in the 1,500, placing 10th. Indoors - Placed fifth at the MPSF Championships to score four points for Stanford in the mile with a season best of 4:03.55.

Cross Country: A surprise selection for the 2011 NCAA Championships and came through in a huge way, placing 55th as Stanford's No. 3 runner ... earned his first collegiate victory at the 2012 Doc Adams Invitational in Davis, Calif.

High School: Finished 17th at the 2008 FootLocker national cross country meet ... Colorado all-state selection in cross country in 2008...the only athlete at the 2009 Colorado state track meet to earn all-state in two events (800 meters and 1,600) ... the 2008 state champion in the 800...ran a personal best in the 800 at the Nike Outdoor Nationals with a time 1:52.61 ... Colorado state record holder in the 3,000 (8:33.74).

Personal: Majoring in biomechanical engineering ... parents are Dan and Tammy Berberick ... has a brother, Matthew ... also participated in soccer and football in high school ... a 2010 USTFCCCA Academic All-American in track and field ... a second team Pac-10 All-Academic selection for cross country.
