2011-12: Skippered five events on the year, and also had four singlehanded events... sailed at the national singlehanded championships in Chicago, where he was 11th after finishing second at the PCCSC singlehanded's behind teammate Mateo Vargas... also part of C Division laser at the fall Navy Coed race, where the Cardinal were third... part of PCCSC Fall Championship team in Santa Barbara, where his C Division laser was third of 21 teams...also won two regional regattas and finished second at the Rose Bowl Regatta... skippered the College of Charleston coed team to a second place finish in February with Yuri Namikawa.
Prior to Stanford: Sailed in Newport Beach, Calif. with Laser, 420's, CFJ's, Gov Cup 21, Etchells, TOM 28 and Sabot's ... started sailing at the age of 13 in the sabot class ... won the 2010 420 Nationals and was second at the 2010 Smythe Junior Singlehanded Championships ... finished seventh at the 2011 Laser Nationals and was seventh at the 2011 Laser Youth Championships ... finished fourth a the 2011 ISAF Youth World Qualifiers ... placed second at the 2010 Governor's Cup match race as the 420 Midwinter Championships.
