Summer Sailing: Finalist for the Youth America's Cup team, which will sail prior to the world's largest sailing event on the San Francisco Bay in late 2013.

Skippered seven races during the season, including four regional regattas, picking up two wins at Redwood Shores and two wins in Newport Beach with Natalie Urban as his crew... also sailed the B Division of the College of Charleston coed regatta in February, winning the B Division and finishing second overall with nine top-five finishes in 10 races.

Prior to Stanford: Part of U.S. Olympic Development Team ... named the 2011 Southern California Yachtman of the Year ... began sailing at the age of four in Dana Point and later moved to San Diego when he was 12, sailing mainly 29ers, 49ers and the international moth ... finished third at the 2008 Volvo Youth World Championships in Denmark and was 16th in the gold fleet at the 2009 29er World Championships in Riva del Garda in Italy ... won the 2008 U.S. Youth Championships on the San Francisco Bay ... 2009 international junior moth world champion on the rivers of Oregon ... picked up victories in 2011 at the 29erxx Kiel World Cup and the 29er German National Championship ... finished fourth in the gold fleet at the 2011 29er European Championships in Switzerland.
