2012 Season (Junior): Named to the USTFCCCA All-West Region team after placing 13th at the NCAA West Regionals in Seattle ... Olson was the No. 5 runner for Stanford's regional championship team, running the 10K course at Jefferson Golf Course in 30:01 ... ran in five meets ... was 87th at the NCAA Championships in Louisville, Ky., as Stanford's No. 2 runner, with a 10K time of 30:37.3 for the Cardinal's 16th-place team ... placed 30th at the Pac-12 Championships in Santa Clarita, Calif., running 24:18 for 8K as the team's No. 5 runner ... was 23rd at the Stanford Invitational (8K, 25:00) and 175th at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational (8K, 24:35), with Stanford winning both meets.

2011 Season (Sophomore): Stanford's No. 5 runner at the NCAA Championships, placing 127th with a 10K time of 31:00.6 ... placed 22nd at the NCAA West Regional meet with a time of 29:57 ... Stanford's No. 4 runner, finishing 12th at the Pac-12 Championships with an 8K time of 23:36 ... placed 58th at the Wisconsin Invitational with a time of 24:33.8 ... top finish was fourth at the Stanford Invitational with a time of 23:23.

2010 Season (Freshman): Stanford's fifth runner at the NCAA Championships, finishing 132nd with a 10K time of 31:28 ... placed 11th at the Pac-10 Championships with an 8K time of 23:49 to help Stanford to the team title ... placed 53rd at Pre-Nationals with an 8K time of 24:28.

International: Won the 2011 U.S. Junior cross country title in San Diego with an 8K time 24:28 ... advanced to the 2011 World Junior championships in Punta Umbria, Spain, but did not finish... competed for the U.S. team at the 2009 World Youth Track and Field Championships in Bressanone, Italy, placing 10th in the 3,000 ... competed for the NACAC Junior cross country team in Mt. Irvine, Trinidad & Tobago, placing thirdon the 6K course.

High School: Captured the 2009 California Division III cross country state championship ... also won the 2009 North Coast Section Division III title ... two-time All-State cross country selection (2008 and `09) ... two-time Marin County Athletic League cross country champion ... a four-time All-NorCal and All-Marin County Athletic League selection in cross country and track... also captained the track team in 2009 and 2010, winning the MCAL and NCS Redwood Empire team championships ... triple individual MCAL champion, in the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 from 2008-10 ... won 1,600 and 3,200 NCS Redwood Empire titles in 2009 and 2010 ... won the 1,600 and 3,200 at the NCS Meet of Champions in 2009 and 2010 ... holds school records in the 1,600 (4:08.54), 3,000 (8:18), and 3,200 (8:55) ... captained his cross country team for two years.
