International Competition:
Swimming at Stanford at the U.S. Nationals in 2011, was a part of the silver medal winning 4x200 free relay team, .07 seconds behind the leaders and was individually in the B Finals with a 13th place finish in the 200 free (1:49.97) and 25th in the 400 free (3:56.17)... swam at the 2010 ConoccoPhillips National Championships in August, reaching the C Finals of the 200 free (1:50.57).

2011-12 Season (Senior): Part of winning 800 free relay at Pacific Invite... ... first team academic all-Pac-12.

2010-11 Season (Junior): Finished off his third season as an All-American in the 200 free, where he was eighth with a time of 1:35.88... also an All-American for the fourth place 800 free relay team, helping the Cardinal to a third place national finish... ranked No. 15 nationally in the 500 free and No. 16 nationally in the 200 free... part of Pac-10 champion, 800 free relay squad (6:19.17) and was third in the 500 free with a career-best time (4:17.76) as the second of four Cardinal in the A Finals... Academic All-Pac-10.

2009-2010 Season (Sophomore): Won All-American honors as part of the seventh place 800 freestyle relay...had the team's second-fastest 200 time (1:34.91) on the season at the Pac-10s... placed fifth in the 200 freestyle and eighth in the 500 freestyle at the Pac-10 Championships.

2008-09 Season (Freshman): Scored his best times at the Pac-10 Championships, racing to a time of 44.58 in the 100 and 1:34.76 in the 200 freestyles... swam 4:19.81 in the 500 freestyle.

High School: A 21-time NISCA High School All-American...seven-time Michigan state champion...2007-08 NISCA national champion in the 200 free...six-time YMCA short course national champion...two-time Speedo long course national champion...ranked No. 1 in the nation for high schoolers in the 200 and 500 free during 2008...Michigan state record holder in the 200 free (1:35.85)...YMCA national record holder in the 500 free (4:21.74)...also played water polo where he was a three-time all-state selection and a 2006 All-American.

Personal: Major in management, science and engineering...parents are David and Susan Priestley...older brother, Dan, was a member of Stanford's swim program for four seasons and walked on to the Cardinal football team last spring.
