STANFORD, Calif. - The Pac-10 announced today the 2011 Pac-12 football schedule and the eight year rotation model used for future scheduling.
The 2011 season begins on Saturday, Sept. 3 and culminates on Saturday, Dec. 3, with the first ever Pac-12 Championship game, which will be played at the home site of the division champion with the best overall record.
Stanford will open the 2011 season at home against San Jose State on Sept. 3. Other home dates include visits by UCLA (Oct. 1), Colorado (Oct. 8), Washington (Oct. 22), Oregon (Nov. 12), California (Nov. 19) and Notre Dame (Nov. 26).
The Cardinal will also visit Duke (Sept. 10), Arizona (Sept. 17), Washington State (Oct. 15), USC (Oct. 29) and Oregon State (Nov. 5).
Stanford, ranked 10th in this week's AP poll, plays host to 13th-ranked Arizona on Saturday, with kick off set for 5:00 p.m. at Stanford Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on ABC.
